Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design cutting-edge tools and equipment for production, manufacturing, or assembly processes.
- Create comprehensive technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for new tools, ensuring all designs are precise and meet quality standards.
- Ensure tool designs meet industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and the highest quality standards to guarantee successful production outcomes.
- Lead tool design projects from initial concept to final completion, managing timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to align on project goals, resources, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and identify potential risks to create mitigation strategies.
- Track, report, and communicate progress on design projects, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are completed as planned.
What is Needed:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in tool design, with a deep understanding of tool engineering.
- Hands-on experience with injection molding tool design is a must.
- Proficiency in NX software is preferred for design and modeling.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead teams and projects effectively.
